  Client – A leading Hardwood Company, involved in trading, sourcing, and producing hardwood products  
     
  The Challenge  
  A major player in the US Hardwood industry desired to identify business trends for over 20 mills using two decades of data. The client asked ProXel Solutions to capture, digitize, and analyze the data and deliver it in a specified format so that it could continue to capture ongoing information.  
     
 

ProXel Solutions built a team comprising of data research and data acquisition professionals to meet the client’s needs. The team thoroughly researched the records for better understanding the operational parameters of the mills and created a database to match the available data. With only a few years of electronic data available, the team had to compile most of the data from 17 years of typed or handwritten records.

 
     
  The financial models designed and implemented by ProXel Solutions helped the client effectively capture historical business data, synchronize older data with current data formats and create financial models to help analyze pricing, expenses, revenues, and other mill operations.
